Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala received an MRI following a late-game injury in Game 4 against the Houston Rockets, one which revealed no structural damage to his knee ahead of a Game 5 tilt on Wednesday, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.
“I’m told there’s no structural damage in that injured knee and the expectation is that he will be able to play in Game 5,” said Charania.
The injury was expected to be mild in nature, as Iguodala said he hyperextended his knee while battling for a rebound with the Rockets' Chris Paul.
Members of the Warriors thought that Paul's antics were a dirty play on Iguodala, who had already boxed him out of position and managed to hold onto a James Harden missed free throw with only seconds left in regulation.

Golden State missed Iguodala during the final four games of the Western Conference Finals against Houston last year, something that proved vital, as the Warriors lost their next two games after holding a 2-1 series lead.
This time around, the Warriors will have the home court advantage heading into Oracle Arena on Wednesday with the series tied at 2-2.
The defending champions haven't been nearly as dominant at home as they used to be, even less so in the postseason, where they have gone a mere 3-2 thus far.
Iguodala's health and minutes are expected to be closely monitored the rest of the way, as the training staff has with the 35-year-old throughout the course of the season.
