It has barely been a few weeks since the Golden State Warriors introduced D'Angelo Russell as their latest addition, but it seems the young guard has already started to put in the work next to new teammate Stephen Curry.
The lefty All-Star posed for a photo next to the two-time MVP in what has to be a pleasant sight for those worried about the two point guards teaming up in the same backcourt:

Many are expecting Russell to have an impact while Klay Thompson is out of action for the first half of the season and become the focal point as he's trusted to be the featured scorer of the second unit. His impact alongside Curry, however, remains just as important, as head coach Steve Kerr will have to figure out a way to put his best talent together on the floor at the end of games.

Russell seems to be already working with Curry and putting that on-court chemistry to work, something that will prove of utmost importance as the Warriors try to stay above water while Thompson is on the shelf.
The hope is Russell can generate some offense without the ball, allowing Curry to be the primary ball handler when the two are on the court, maximizing the perimeter prowess and giving Russell more openings to do some damage.
The 23-year-old lefty will have his share of opportunities to have the ball in his hands in the middle of quarters while making the most of his isolation game once Curry is off the floor.
