Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is not a big-time scorer. He has never been anyway. What he lacks in scoring, though, he more than makes up with his playmaking and rebounding.

Sure enough, after the Warriors finished with the eighth seed in the West and a spot in the play-in, Green ended the regular season with the most unique stat line never seen before. According to Justin Kubatko, Dray is the first player with at least 30 games played to have more rebounds and assists than points.

Green, for his part, banked 444 points on the season while bagging 449 rebounds and 558 assists.

Well, that's the most Draymond Green stat you'll ever see. The Warriors big man did not have the best season in terms of scoring, as his 2020-21 mark is his third-lowest scoring in his nine-year NBA career. Had he not played only 43 games in 2019-20, his latest scoring numbers could have been his lowest since his rookie season.

Nonetheless, as mentioned, the Warriors don't really rely on him to score. He is their defensive anchor who provides mobility as a small-ball center, and he has played that role to perfection. With him on the floor, the Dubs have been one of the better defensive teams in the NBA in recent weeks.

The Warriors will certainly need Green to keep doing what he does best and let his other teammates do the scoring. They have Stephen Curry anyway–the greatest shooter of all time–so they are pretty much covered in that area.
