It has just over a month since the Golden State Warriors made the surprising addition of All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins on a one-year, $5.3 million deal in free agency.
This has now pushed the Warriors in the realm of being an even more overwhelming favorite to win their third straight NBA title next season. It is a notion that Cousins had acknowledged that could be the case as it may make them an even more imposing offensive juggernaut, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

On how good the Warriors can be with Cousins: “We can be as close to unstoppable as you can be.”
Although the possibility is there, Cousins is still recovering from a torn Achilles tendon that he suffered back in January that could keep up off the floor for much of the first half of the 2018-19 season with him returning to the floor in near the All-Star break.
However, there is a chance that he can return to the floor to being the player he was prior to the injury where he had established himself as being one of the top big men in the league. He was in the midst of possibly his most productive campaign where he was averaging a double-double with 25.2 points on 47 percent shooting from the floor and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc with 12.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per contest.
If he's any essence of the player he was before the injury, it could elevate the Warriors to being an unstoppable offensive force that the league has yet to see. This is a low-risk, high-reward move that Golden State has taken that could lead to another NBA title.
