Stephen Curry will enter the 2019-2020 season as the Golden State Warriors' oldest player. He has welcomed the challenge and hopes that he's wise beyond his years.
Per 95.7 The Game, Curry, 31, shared that people have been reminding him that he's the oldest player in the Warriors roster. He has no qualms with it but remains hopeful that his advancing age won't affect his performance in the court.
“Has it sunk in? No. Have people been reminding me? Yes… it’s cool though hopefully I’m wise beyond my years but still youthful on the court.”
He also noted that in preparation, he needs to get more sleep and ample rest during the tough regular season.

As the team's elder statesman, Stephen Curry will continue with his role as the team's leader both on and off the court. Given his significant experience, he has the job to welcome the new guys in and carefully teach them the ways on how to get to the summit.
Stephen Curry will share leadership chores with Draymond Green — tagged as the team's vocal leader, as well as Splash Brother Klay Thompson. To be the oldest player in the team can be quite intimidating. It comes with a new set of responsibilities outside of yourself.
Stephen Curry, who's entering his 11th year in the league, has seen it all. The 2019-2020 season is just another year to prove that he's one of the best players today and the Warriors are still contenders for the title.
