When one thinks about the Golden State Warriors, it is impossible not to associate three-point shooting with them. After all, they have some of the best shooters in league history. The team is inside the top 10 in most threes attempted per game and top four in made long-range shots per game. They also lead the league in three-point shooting percentage with an absolutely ridiculous 39.2 percent as a team.

But according to The Athletics's Anthony Slater, the Warriors are dead last in bench three-point shots made this season. Slater says the Warriors have 104 bench threes this season, which represents an average of two per game. Who saw that coming?

This is no surprise when you stop and look at the Warriors bench players' numbers. The only player on their bench with more than 0.4 threes made per game is Nick Young, with 1.4. Andre Iguodala makes only 0.4 three-pointers a game, Patrick McCaw makes 0.3, and Omri Casspi hits 0.2. That is it. JaVale McGee does not shoot threes, David West may launch a long-range shot every once in a while, and Shaun Livingston may be the only point guard left in the league that still has a job despite not being able to shoot threes.

It is safe to say that the only reason the Warriors make so many threes is their unique combination of insane shooters in the starting lineup. Stephen Curry himself accounts for 37 percent of all threes by Golden State, with 4.3 makes per game. Next on the team is Klay Thompson with 3.3, and then Kevin Durant with 2.5. The Warriors have survived even with weak three-point shooting from their bench. They may be stronger than ever, but this situation could become a big issue for them come playoffs time.
