The Golden State Warriors trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant is on pace to one-up a historic feat first achieved last season.
Curry and Durant had become the first pair of teammates in NBA history to average at least 20 points per game and put up a true shooting percentage above 62 percent. This season, Klay Thompson could join them, as all three are on pace to join that very exclusive efficiency club.

As the Warriors offense has gotten even more loaded than last year, coach Steve Kerr has managed to give each of his stars a chance to shine and play off each other, maximizing their efficiency on the floor.

Thompson is off to a great start to the season, shooting 51 percent from the floor and a blistering 48 percent from deep, and while Curry has struggled to connect on his long ball at his usual 40-plus percentile (currently at 38.8 percent), he's made up for it by knocking down 84 of 89 free-throws, improving his pace from the stripe at a deadly 94.4 percent.
Durant has built on his best defensive season, which has translated for him offensively as well, shooting an identical career-high 54 percent, while showing a much-improved acumen from beyond the arc, burying 44.3 percent of his shots from deep.
Durant (65.9 percent true shooting), Curry (65.6 percent), and Thompson (63 percent) both have the ability to keep up this insane efficiency pace for the remainder of the season, while Draymond Green, who is shooting 64.5 percent, is unlikely to keep this up for the rest of the season.
