Kevin Durant had quite an brilliant idea to poke fun at himself, posting a picture of himself in a tank top with LeBron James' face after being selected to be on his team for this year's All-Star Game.

The caption “My Next Chapter” was the initial title of his post-decision explanation of why he chose to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder, opting to join the Golden State Warriors as a free agent in 2016.

The post read: “#1 pick. Well at least my ego thinks so. I'm coming for you Stephen.”

Many in the Twitterverse had been trolling about Durant switching jerseys mid-game after the All-Star draft was not televised due to discretion from the league office and the firm opposition from the NBPA.

As expected, Durant was selected with the first overall pick by James, the leading vote-getter —while Stephen Curry got to select what jersey color to wear over a conference call with James and the media.

This team will likely give fans a look at how overpowered a team with James and Durant can be, despite playing the same position on the floor.

Durant said previously that he was ready to chase Klay Thompson and Curry off of screens, and even block his shot, as well as going one-on-one against the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Draymond Green.

Durant would likely not have pulled off a stunt like this one last season, when he was getting mauled throughout the season for his decision to sign with Golden State. Having proven himself a champion, it's much easier to poke fun at himself in this way and not take himself too seriously, using this opportunity close to the All-Star festivities.
