The Golden State Warriors have won eight straight games and are clearly in midseason form. But Stephen Curry hints that there might be more in store for the rest of the NBA.
After their dominant 132-100 win over the Indiana Pacers, Curry was asked if their team has “another gear.” Curry believes so, noting that they're not playing seamless basketball just yet. Per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Curry said:
“We’re not playing perfect basketball, but we’re playing consistent, focused basketball.”

Curry added that they're still working on various rotations, what call to play and when to call it, among other things. He also noted that the little things are the ones that will help them win the championship. And these include transition defense and boxing out on a rebound.
Earlier, head coach Steve Kerr revealed that they are still finding ways on how to fully integrate DeMarcus Cousins into their offense. And in his first five games, it's safe to say that the Warriors have been utilizing him extremely well.
From playing 15 minutes in his first game back to dropping 22 points in 25 minutes in his latest game, Cousins seems to be meshing well with his teammates. Perhaps this is what Stephen Curry was referring to. Once they've figured out the perfect way to integrate the big man, then it's the only time that he'll declare that the Warriors are back in championship form.
