Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has finally spoken up about the return of former teammate Andre Iguodala. The 2015 NBA Finals MVP with the Dubs is finally headed back to the team where he won three championships with after his two-year stint with the Miami Heat. Coincidentally, the Warriors struggled in those two seasons when the 37-year-old was out in South Beach

Needless to say, Curry was more than excited to get his former teammate back. The two-time MVP believes that Iggy's role in Golden State this season will be more or less the same and it'll be as if he's never left.

“I mean honestly a lot of that was just kinda on his own and understanding what he feels like he has left on the tank. And that's the thing for him in this space. It's not just where he finishes and he understands he has a lot left to give on the court,” Curry said on Wednesday (via @Dubs4O8). He's extremely motivated. He understands how we do things, he's part of building our culture and our championship run. So, to have the balance of the presence he brings to our locker room, the veteran leadership, but also, he's not just going to be on the bench, he's going to be out there on the court contributing and doing things he's used to doing. That's what we're excited about.”

With the Warriors shuffling their roster this off-season, look for Iguodala to comfortably slide into his role as one of the key glue guys in head coach Steve Kerr's roster. Hopefully, for Dub Nation, the return of Andre Iguodala sparks a renewed confidence as the Warriors try to get back to playoff contention.
