Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry says the team needs to play fast and disciplined without superstar small forward Kevin Durant.

Durant has already been ruled out for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, which is on Thursday up in Toronto. It will be the sixth straight game the Warriors will be without Durant.

Curry has been on a scoring tear since Durant went down. The two-time league MVP is averaging 35.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 6.6 assists over the Warriors’ last five games while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from beyond the arc and 95.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Of course, the Warriors want Durant to play in the Finals, but they don't need to rush him back unless something unforeseen happens. The Dubs are the heavy favorites to defeat the Raptors sans KD.

The ball movement has been more crisp for the Warriors over the last five games. That was expected since the Dubs can't throw the ball into Durant as a security blanket. Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have all played great without Durant. That's not a shot at KD either.

It just shows the three All-Stars have what it takes to carry the load without one of the best players in NBA history.
