Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry says his dislocated left finger is going to hurt “until I have time to rest.”
Curry suffered the injury in Game 2 against the Houston Rockets and appeared to re-aggravate it in Game 6 on Friday.
The Warriors sharpshooter says he's been doing a lot of experimenting trying to figure out how to cope with the injury.
“It’s a lot of experimenting,” Curry told Mark Medina of the Mercury News. “A lot of it will hurt until I have time to rest. I’ll continue to figure out how to make the ball feel comfortable in my hands.”

Curry hasn't been shooting the ball well since he sustained the injury, although he might have broken out of his shooting slump in the second half of Game 6. Curry scored a whopping 33 points in the final 24 minutes and shot 9-of-20 from the field overall and 4-of-11 from beyond the arc.
Those are shooting splits we usually don't see from Curry, but the Warriors will take it since Curry was shooting 26.3 percent from the 3-point line coming into Game 6 against the Rockets.
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals is on Tuesday, May 14. Hopefully, Curry's left finger gets a little better until then.
