Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan shared a highly-publicized moment during last month's Ryder Cup. The Golden State Warriors star spilled on their recent exchange, including how they squashed their old mini-beef in a matter of seconds.

A couple of years back, an unprompted MJ infamously claimed that the Warriors star was not yet a Hall of Famer, despite his back-to-back MVPs and multiple championships. Curry didn't go directly at the Chicago Bulls legend on the matter. His official reaction to the news was poignant as ever. But he did shade Jordan for being a “hater” during one of his casual interviews.

The Warriors point guard appeared on the latest episode of The Athletic NBA Show with David Aldridge and Marcus Thompson and brought up how he and MJ addressed that lingering issue right away during their Ryder Cup meeting.

Via The Athletic (30:30 mark):

Thompson: “So, did you ask him if you are a Hall of Famer now?”

“The first question, I just blurted it out,” said the Warriors star. “and he said, ‘First-ballot Hall of Fame, no problem.’ That’s verbatim what he said.”

Aldridge: “But did you ask him if he likes you now more than he likes Russ?”

“No, we didn't get into that one though.”

Finally, all is right in the world. The arguable GOAT and the greatest shooter of all-time are finally on the same page. There's no question that Stephen Curry gets a first-ballot entry for what he's done for the game. Michael Jordan was probably just being is usual self trying to light a fire in one of the modern game's stars.

The argument against the Warriors star is non-existent at this point. Now even Michael Jordan admits it.
