Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been playing near 100-game seasons for four-straight years, having made a trip deep in the postseason since the Steve Kerr era begun in 2014.
The Warriors pulled it off once again, taking down the threatening Houston Rockets in a Game 7 to reach the NBA Finals and arrange another date with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ask Curry if this victory is special for him.
“Yes,” he said, according to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports, “because it's really hard.”
While it might seem like a very repetitive end-of-season theme: Warriors vs. Cavs on ABC — it only serves as a testament of both teams' dominance in their respective conference, having done it in vastly different ways throughout the past two seasons.

Both conference titans smashed their way through the postseason in 2017, with Cleveland winning 12-straight playoff games and Golden State winning 15 in a row before a Game 4 loss gave an end to the Warriors' undefeated playoff streak.
This time around, both teams have been pushed to the brink of elimination, both winning their two last games to stave off an early exit.
The Cavs have endured two Game 7s and the Warriors with one — their first since an energy-depleting comeback effort against current teammate Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Each trip to the NBA Finals is unique and carries its own meaning, and this one is sure to stick for Curry, who had to battle out of an early struggle through Games 1 and 2 to finally get back in a groove.
