With 9 three-pointers on Tuesday night, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has now tied Ray Allen for most playoff games with at least 8 three-pointers.

The two-time MVP continues to rack up all sorts of three-point records. He also passed Allen for most career playoff three-pointers in Game 1 of their first round series against the Los Angeles Clippers earlier in this postseason. It's inevitable, likewise, that Curry will pass Allen soon enough for most career regular season three-pointers.
Curry has been on fire since his 33-point second half explosion in their Game 6 win against the Houston Rockets.
The three-time NBA champion continued his hot streak from downtown to lead the Warriors to a 116-94 victory in the last Game 1 ever at the Oracle Arena. Curry scored 36 points on 12-of-23 shooting (9-of-15 from three) and added six rebounds and seven assists.
The defending champions did not seem to miss two-time Finals MVP and leading scorer Kevin Durant as they were in cruise control for the entire game. Klay Thompson chipped in 26 points on 10-of-24 shooting for Golden State, who is now in its fifth straight Western Conference Finals.
With Portland's big men opting to sag off of Curry on the pick ‘n roll, it was a field day for the two-time MVP from beyond the arc. The three-point specialist had several open looks from deep, contrary to the kind of looks he was getting from their previous series against the Rockets.
The Blazers will have make their adjustments on their pick ‘n roll coverages for Golden State's shooters if they want to give the defending champions a fight in these conference finals.
