Stephen Curry's new kicks are definitely a unique design. The color scheme is all over the place. It looks like more of an acquired taste, but this is nothing new with Curry.
Curry is one of Under Armour's most recognizable athletes. Even if these kicks look questionable, the shoes could sell. But that doesn't make them look any better, as you can see:

The reactions to the kicks on social media were largely negative. The color scheme and design are throwing people off. A more basic color scheme would probably have gotten much better feedback.

There's always a chance that the Lakers acquire another star midseason and LeBron James begins to pose a serious threat. The Rockets have serious questions to answer after their offseason, but Chris Paul and James Harden are always dangerous. Not to mention, the Thunder may be able to figure things out better in the second year of the Russell Westbrook-Paul George experiment.
The Western Conference is as deep as it's been in a long time. A tough regular season could wear down the Warriors. Four straight appearances to the NBA Finals could have worn them down a bit.
But Steph Curry and the Warriors are looking to prove all the doubters wrong. Watching Curry do that will be much better than looking at his new kicks.
