Saturday night will feature a highly-anticipated matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets. For his part, first-year Nets head coach Steve Nash had nothing but high praise for Dubs superstar point guard Stephen Curry.
According to Nash, he considers Curry to be one of the most important players in the history of the sport:
“Steph is one of the great gifts of our game,” Nash said Saturday afternoon, via Monte Poole of NBC Sports. “He’s so unique in his accuracy, dexterity, the efficient nature of him scoring, from an incredible disparate range of shots and types of shots. It's unprecedented.”
Clearly, Nash holds Curry in very high regard. Nash is one of the greatest point guards in NBA history, and like Curry, he too bagged back-to-back MVP titles during his heyday. As such, there's no denying that Nash is an authority in this matter, so his high opinion on Curry speaks volumes of how the legends of the game view Curry's contributions to the sport.

“He loves the game, loves to compete and loves to train,” Nash said. “He trains to be great, so it's no surprise to me that he's having as good a year as he ever had. And he’s continuing to evolve and improve.”
All the pleasantries will be set aside on Saturday, as Stephen Curry and Co. look to log their third straight win at the expense of the Nets.
