It has been quite a busy offseason for Golden State Warriors star forward Kevin Durant after winning his first NBA title of his career.

This includes a recent interview with “Hot Ones,” where he conducted an interview while eating extremely spicy hot wings that pushed him to the limit.

Beyond seeing Durant sweating it out from hot wings, it was a thorough interview that provided more insight on the person that the former league MVP is. He has a clear disdain for critics over social media that blast him over anything involving the game of basketball.

He is also revealed that former Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant is “like a god” to him even at this stage of his own career. Durant stated that if he needed some fashion advice he would speak to his former teammate Russell Westbrook.

The 28-year-old also stated that his relationship with the media still isn't the greatest because of the constant comparisons that he and other current players receive to greats of the past. If he were to be a part of the media once his career is finished, Durant stated that he would speak out for the players on their behalf to counteract all the perceived negativity.

More than anything else, this provided some further knowledge of the person Durant is well beyond the court.
