Kevin Durant is angry at NBA officiating again. The superstar forward was one of three Golden State Warriors players to be fined by the NBA for their comments towards NBA officials (with Durant having the least amount at $15,000) after the much-talked-about finish to their Friday overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
On Tuesday night against the Western Conference second-place team the Denver Nuggets, the 30-year-old didn't wait for the game to end to give the referees a piece of his mind. Unfortunately, it was an expletive-laden tirade in response to a non-call on an airballed three-point attempt which he perceived to have been a result of a Paul Millsap foul. Durant was assessed a technical for his reaction and he followed it up with another barrage of vulgar insults leading to the 6-foot-10 veteran to get tossed.

While this will likely result in another fine for KD (probably a heftier one than the previous amount he was levied), he could at least take solace in the fact that the pair of technicals just bumped up his number to 15. A total of 16 could have led to an automatic suspension slated to take effect on the next game against the Los Angeles Lakers, and with the Nuggets close behind and gunning for homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, every game counts for the Warriors at this point.
That said, Durant still has to be careful and keep his emotions at check moving forward since the Dubs (and likely his final year with the team) depends on it.
