After playing great defense, the Golden State Warriors immediately pushed the ball to Stephen Curry. It was a 2-on-1 fast break, LeBron James peddling back. In front of him are Curry and Kevin Durant.
As seen in the video below, Curry baited James by pretending to set up his form for a long distance bomb. James took the bait. Why wouldn't he? Curry is the best shooter in the world. Once James approached him, Curry casually threw the ball high up for the lob. Durant caught the ball and slammed it effortlessly:
Article Continues BelowIt was a well-executed play for the Warriors. It was an easy basket — probably one of the rare giveaways in this game. It was a result of superb team defense — something that the Warriors are known for.
For Cavs fans, expect the team to retaliate. They are in the NBA Finals for a very good reason. They won't just let the Warriors stop them in their tracks. They won't just let Durant and Curry throwing up alley-oops without any sort of resistance.
