Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis is famously recognized as a native of Chicago, Illinois — one of the nation's hot beds for up-and-coming basketball players. After growing up in Chicago and making his way to the heralded University of Kentucky for his collegiate playing days, Davis quickly became a force atop the NBA level.
Davis will become a free agent next offseason, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will ultimately remain on the West Coast in Los Angeles. Originally traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Lakers, it will be the first time that the veteran big man can truly test the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
Could Davis return home to the “Windy City” though? At least one trolling Chicago Bulls fan certainly appears to have his fingers crossed…

The Bulls have employed quite a few notable superstar-caliber players since the days of Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen, though Anthony Davis would bring a whole new level of excitement to the once successful Eastern Conference franchise.
Davis, who has been a huge factor for the Lakers before the season was suspended, would be added to the likes of Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Jimmy Butler and others right off the bat as those tabbed with taking the Bulls back to the team's championship days.
Although a massive force for both the Pelicans and Lakers, Davis has yet to win a NBA title and could be looking to do so upon selecting a team to sign with this summer.
