Los Angeles Lakers star big man Anthony Davis says he's really close with LeBron James and can't wait to “see the things he’s able to do” for a full season.
James and Davis share the same agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. The two superstars are forming one of the most lethal duos in NBA history on the Lakers.
Anthony Davis on LeBron, referenced brief times on court together for Team USA/All-Star, but: "To get a full season and to see the things he’s able to do – pass, shoot, talks well defensively, great leader, so I’m excited to get a lot of that this season, and just go from there."

Chicago Bulls legend and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan has the best player efficiency rating in NBA history at 27.91. LeBron James is second at 27.59 and Anthony Davis is third at 27.42. So the Lakers have two of the most efficient scorers in NBA history on their roster. Not bad at all.
This past season, James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 55 games while shooting 51.0 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-throw line. The four-time MVP missed 17 consecutive games due to a groin injury he suffered on Christmas against the Golden State Warriors. Had James not sustained that injury, the Lakers probably make the playoffs.
For the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018-19, Davis put up 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 blocks in 56 games. The six-time All-Star shot 51.7 percent from the floor, 33.1 percent from the 3-point line and 79.4 percent from the charity stripe.
