Anthony Davis is very excited to play with LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers. The two superstars, who share the same agent, will try to lead the Purple and Gold to a championship next season, a feat which is possible since AD and LeBron are two of the top five players in the game.

Davis says teaming up with James is “something that’s special.” The Lakers and their fans can't wait to see The Brow and The King take the floor together as teammates:

“Yeah, I mean, we’ve been friends for a long time,” Davis told Joe Vardon of The Athletic. “We’re excited to play with each other on a team, go out here and compete. It’s something that’s special and it’s something that we definitely want to make sure we take advantage of while we’re both here.”

After missing out on Kawhi Leonard, the Lakers made a flurry of moves. They agreed to deals with Danny Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Quinn Cook and Avery Bradley. The Lakers also re-signed Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Alex Caruso. LA nabbed Jared Dudley before Leonard joined the Los Angeles Clippers.

James and Davis are second and third, respectively, in NBA history for player efficiency rating. The Lakers, barring something unforeseen happening, will make the playoffs in 2019-20. Once you get talents like LeBron and Davis in the postseason, anything can happen.
