The Lonzo Ball era of the Los Angeles Lakers has begun. The rookie point guard led the Lakers to Summer League title in Las Vegas and already has the fan base clamoring for more as well as his new teammates like Larry Nance Jr. anxious to play alongside him next season.
TMZ Sports recently caught up with Nance at LAX and asked the Lakers forward about playing with Ball next season. Nance said the following about his rookie teammate.
“He's going to make everybody better,” Nance said of Ball.
Nance was also asked if Lakers fans can expect “Showtime” this season from the revamped squad led by Ball.
“I certainly hope so,” Nance said.

Along with the addition of rookies Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, and Thomas Bryant, the Lakers were also able to upgrade the roster with a couple of veteran players. The team parted ways with D'Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov in a trade to acquire one-time All-Star Brook Lopez and signed defensive-minded guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency.
Although the Lakers appear to have improved their roster on paper and saw some solid performances out of Ball and Kuzma during the Summer League, it remains to be seen how it will all come together in Los Angeles during the upcoming season.
However, it seems as though the franchise is heading in the right direction with Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka paving the way for a potentially bright future.
