One of the things we've learned watching LeBron James through the years is his unbridled ability to defy the laws of time. Just like fine wine, the four-time NBA champ just seems to get better as he gets older. As it turns out, this is exactly what Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers thinks of LeBron.

According to Rivers, he firmly believes that today's 36-year-old LeBron James is a better player than he was half a decade ago:

“He does everything better than he did five years ago when he supposedly was in his prime,” Rivers said, via Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times. “…He'll go down as one of the greatest passers to ever play the game.”

We see no lies here. It's hard to disagree with Rivers especially after you look at what James did last season with the Lakers. Not only did he lead the Purple & Gold to its first championship in 10 years, but he did so in such dominant fashion.

We're also on the same boat with Rivers when it comes to his opinion on LeBron James' innate passing ability. This is perhaps one of the most underrated aspects of James' game, but the fact that he was able to lead the league in assists last season (10.2 dimes per contest) is certainly testament to this fact. It also speaks volumes of how LeBron continues to evolve and adapt his game as necessary. How many other players out there can say that they were able to top the entire NBA in the assists column in Year 17?
