Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James made a vow to hip-hop star Nipsey Hussle, who passed away earlier this week due to a violent shooting.
Via Instagram, James vowed to continue the marathon. He also hopes to make Nipsey Hussle proud. The rapper was recently added to a mural in Los Angeles right beside James and Snoop Dogg.

Apart from James, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, too, gave Hussle a shoutout. Right after their win over the Lakers on Tuesday — where he notched a monster triple-double of 20 points, 21 assists, and 20 rebounds — Westbrook said that his performance was dedicated to the late rapper.
Hussle's killer has since been caught. Police reported that a personal dispute earlier in the day triggered the murder. For some, the case is already closed.
