The Ja Morant show for the Memphis Grizzlies continues, this time at the expense of Los Angeles Clippers guard Jerome Robinson.
Morant crossed over Robinson, paused and then hit a 3-pointer to cap off the play for the Grizzlies:

Morant, the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft, is the new franchise player in Memphis in the post-Mike ConleyĀ era. The explosive guard is putting upĀ 17.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 29 games for the Grizzlies and shooting 47.1 percent overall, 40.9 percent from the 3-point line and 79.1 percent from the charity stripe.
SinceĀ New Orleans PelicansĀ rookieĀ Zion Williamson has yet to make his regular season debut, Morant has a good shot at winning the Rookie of the Year Award, although Miami Heat rookie Kendrick Nunn figures to have something to say about that when itās all said and done.
Grizzlies fans are so excited to watch Morant play in Memphis, hopefully for the rest of his NBA career. The Grizzlies are hoping Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. will lead the franchise back to the playoffs soon.
