The Minnesota Timberwolves duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins replicated the 2007 feat by Kevin Garnett and Ricky Davis, as they notched at least 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in the same game.

They achieved the impressive feat in their 120-114 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday. Towns had 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Wiggins, for his part, finished with 33 points, six rebounds and five assists.
The Timberwolves started scorching hot from the field. In the first quarter, they shot at 60 percent clip from the field and had a 41-26 lead. The game eventually normalized, as the Pistons were able to cut the lead to single digits.
Article Continues BelowHowever, a seemingly rejuvenated Wiggins had other ideas. He nailed a jumper in the clutch which was good enough to seal the win.
Wiggins has been instrumental in the Timberwolves' 6-4 record in the young season. So far, he's averaging 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists. While there are still lots of games left to play, Wiggins' early performance is a good indication of what's to come. After his stellar rookie campaign, the 24-year-old seemingly fell out of the radar.
Wiggins is slowly returning to form. Before he entered the league, he was compared to the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Now, in the 2019-20 season, he's showing why he was mentioned alongside these greats.
