Minnesota Timberwolves star big man Karl-Anthony Towns has passed Kevin Love on Minnesota's all-time scoring list.
Love was fourth on the list entering Thursday. The former Timberwolves star scored 6,989 points with Minnesota. The franchise traded Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the summer of 2014.
Towns entered Thursday with 6,980 points. He passed Love against the Charlotte Hornets.
With that basket, KAT has passed Kevin Love (6989) for 4th on the Wolves' all-time scoring list.

The next player for Karl-Anthony Towns to pass is Sam Mitchell.
Mitchell scored 7,161 points with the Timberwolves.
Towns entered Thursday putting up monster numbers. In what has been a down season for the Timberwolves, Towns has been the one bright spot. The former No. 1 overall pick is averaging 24.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 41.0 percent from beyond the arc and 83.2 percent from the free-throw line.
After making the playoffs last season, the Timberwolves are going to miss it this year. The franchise hasn't been able to rebound from the Jimmy Butler trade and all the injuries which have taken place. Jeff Teague, Derrick Rose and Robert Covington missed a handful of games this season. Andrew Wiggins also wasn't able to take the next step in his development. He actually regressed.
The Timberwolves gave Towns a lucrative extension before the season started, and KAT fully earned it with his play this season.
