Mardi Gras on the streets of downtown New Orleans has always been an awe-inspiring spectacle that most of us can only wish to partake in. This year's celebrations were nothing short of amazing yet again and it is clear that everyone was having a really good time during the annual Mardi Gras parade. It's a good thing, however, that Pelicans star Zion Williamson wasn't in attendance.
One particular group that took part in the parade decided to go full savage on the Pelicans stud. Their float was completely dedicated to the Pels and the misfortunes they've had over the past few years. The main feature of the float was a hilarious caricature of Zion Williamson and it is clear that these folks aren't very fond of the 21-year-old star (h/t Barstool Sports on Twitter):
Not sure Zion is gonna love the float they made for him at Mardi Gras @BarstoolNOLA

Here's another look at the Zion-inspired ātributeā float which pokes fun at the Pelicans star's oft-injured nature as well as his rather healthy appetite:

I'm sure Zion will catch wind of this float if he hasn't already. This clearly doesn't represent how the entire city of New Orleans feels about their cornerstone superstar, but what cannot be denied is that there are more than a few people out there who aren't too happy with what he's delivered for the franchise and the city thus far.
