Knicks' avoid 0-3 start with Game 3 comeback win vs. Pacers
On May 25, 2025, the Knicks and Pacers played Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. After losing the first two games at home against Indiana, New York made a statement with their comeback win.
They were down 20 points during the game. Somehow, they were resilient enough to make the epic comeback. It helped that they outscored the Pacers 61-42 in the second half of the game.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points and logged 15 rebounds in the game. He led the team in scoring. Jalen Brunson was right behind him with 23 points.
Now, both teams have made comebacks in the series. The Pacers were down 14 points late in Game 1 at Madison Square Garden. Tyrese Haliburton forced overtime with a buzzer-beater, and the Knicks were unable to win in the extra period.
The series will now return to New York for at least one more game. The Pacers and Knicks will play one more game in Indiana before returning to New York for Game 5. If the Knicks had lost Game 3, they would have been down 0-3 in the series, one game away from elimination. They have saved their season for now.
