Former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter has provided New York Knicks supporters with a mouthwatering prospect for the upcoming season. According to the 53-year-old, the Knicks might just be looking at the possibility of having both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard signing with their team this summer.

Carter, who is very close w/ Kawhi Leonard and his camp, said that:

Durant and Leonard are the two biggest names in this summer's edition of free agency. The Knicks, who freed up a ton of cap space in a mid-season deal that centered around former cornerstone big man Kristaps Porzingis making his way to the Dallas Mavericks, could actually afford to sign both superstars and their hefty price tags.
The question is, however, is if either guy will be willing to sign with the Knicks. New York certainly remains to be one of the most attractive destinations for free agents, but with how the playoffs have shaped up this season, it's now uncertain if Durant or Leonard will actually reject an extension from their current teams.
Durant has been out with an injury since the second round and may not be able to suit up again this year. If Golden State ends up losing in the Finals against the Toronto Raptors — something that is looking likely at this point — then he may be out for some redemption next season. That might just be the motivation he needs to extend his stay in Oakland.
As for Leonard, there is no better motivation to remain with the Raptors than an NBA title. The historic postseason run is already one thing, but if they were able to go all the way then odds are, Kawhi would think twice about parting ways with a championship-winning side.
However things turn out, the Knicks will almost certainly make a splash in the offseason. They may not hit the jackpot, but New York fans should expect a much more competitive season next year.
