The Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks supplied us with an entertaining contest on Thursday, with the struggling Knicks securing a surprise 106-91 victory against the home team.

There were several noteworthy moments during the matchup, but one that definitely stood out was when former United States President Jimmy Carter was featured by the broadcast on the infamous Kiss Cam. The 94-year-old former commander-in-chief turned out to be quite a sport, and decided to give his wife, Rosalynn, a very romantic kiss on live TV:

The home supporters, however, could not have been pleased with how the contest ended for their team. As a unit, the Hawks were pretty bad in this one. It was big man Dewayne Dedmon who led Atlanta with 21 points on 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-7 from distance. Prized rookie Trae Young and Kent Bazemore contributed with 16 points apiece, but outside these three, everybody else pretty much stunk it up.

Sophomore sensation John Collins shot only 4-of-11 from the floor for eight points and grabbed just a single rebound. Taurean Prince likewise had a forgettable evening with 10 points on 3-of-12 shooting and three turnovers.

For the Knicks, this victory means that they are no longer the bottom-dwellers of the league (for now, at least), as they have bettered the record of the Phoenix Suns by one win.
