Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder just tied the second-longest triple-double streak in league history. Per Justin Kubatko of StatMuse, Westbrook's seven-game triple-double streak is the second longest in NBA history. He's second behind Wilt Chamberlain's nine-game streak in March 1968.

Per Cody Talor, Westbrook has tied Michael Jordan — the greatest of all-time — who notched seven consecutive triple-doubles in the 1988-1989 season.

Westbrook achieved the feat in their 132-122 win over the Orlando Magic. Westbrook finished the game with 16 points, 16 assists, and 15 rebounds. His streak started on Jan. 22 in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers where he put up 29 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds.

For the season, Westbrook has a total of 20 triple-doubles to lead the league. Behind him is Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets who has nine. And for the season so far, Westbrook is averaging 21.5 points per game, 11.0 assists, and 10 rebounds.

If he maintains this up until the regular season concludes, then it'll be his third straight season averaging a triple-double. In addition, Thunder have gone 99-24 all-time when Westbrook logs in similar numbers. For the season, they are 14-6.

Westbrook has a chance to extend his streak to eight games when the Thunder go up against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.
