Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook just dished out 10 assists in one quarter — tying the franchise record for most in a quarter.

Below is the assist which tied the record held by Westbrook himself. And of course, he found his favorite receiver, Steven Adams.

While a remarkable feat, it's not surprising that it came from Russell Westbrook. He's one of the few NBA players who can do it all — score, rebound, and pass. For the season, he's averaging a triple-double of 23.0 points, a career-high 10.4 assists and 11.0 rebounds. This is the third straight season that he's averaged a triple-double.

The Thunder entered the game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a 44-33 record for eighth place in the West. The next few games will be important for Westbrook and crew. They're safely into the playoffs, but their current standing puts them in place to match up with either the Denver Nuggets or the Golden State Warriors.

Some have theorized that they're aiming for a first round match-up against the defending champions. After all, the Thunder seem to put their best foot forward whenever they match up with Stephen Curry and Co.

It would be foolish to count out the Thunder, especially when they have two superstars in Westbrook and Paul George who are at the top of their game.
