Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the more promising young players in the NBA right now, but despite being just 21 years old, the former Kentucky Wildcat still knows how to honor the game's history.

Gilgeous-Alexander came through to the Thunder's home matchup on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers—his former team—wearing a gorgeous hoodie. Interestingly, the said wardrobe choice features the iconic image of Allen Iverson stepping over Tyronn Lue during the Philadelphia 76ers' Game 1 win against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2001 NBA Finals.

Gilgeous-Alexander was a casualty of the Clippers' blockbuster trade with the Thunder last offseason, with the second-year guard and veteran forward Danilo Gallinari shipped to OKC for All-Star wing Paul George. Shai had a very good rookie year in L.A., but the Clippers had to give up the former 11th-overall pick of the 2018 draft in order to pair up George with two-time Finals MVP forward Kawhi Leonard.

Tuesday will be SGA's third tilt against his former team, with past matchups seeing the 6-foot-5 combo guard score 11 points in November and later, on Dec. 22, 2019, a season-high-tying 32 points along with dishing out five assists.

After earning a spot on the NBA's All-Rookie Second Team last year, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 19.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 35.4 minutes per game for the Thunder. He is also shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from 3-point range and 80.0 percent from the free throw line.
