Philadelphia 76ers‘ forward Ben Simmons may not only be the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, but may also be the top rookie in winning fans. Even after only having played in the Summer League to show for his NBA career, he may already have lifelong fans, thanks to his very kind gesture to a kid in a mall.
Davon Presbery from Camden, New Jersey was hanging out with his younger brother, Jordan Underwood, at a mall and checking out some sneakers when they noticed this very tall, lanky man and later realized it was Simmons.
The LSU product then asked the younger fan if there was any pair that caught his eye and to see if the store had them in his size. Luckily, they had them available and without hesitation, the first-year Sixer bought it for him.

The 6'10 forward didn't need to pay for it, and could have just left the store after the brothers had a photo op with him, but that's just not the kind of guy that he is. Instead, he not only made their day, but gave them an incredible story then can tell for the rest of their lives.
