Ben Simmons is one of the biggest rising stars in the NBA and has taken over as the co-face of the Philadelphia 76ers' franchise. After winning the Rookie of the Year Award last season, expectations were super high for Simmons coming into the 2018-19 NBA season. He has not put up huge scoring numbers, but his game as a whole has not disappointed the Sixers.

Throughout the first three games of the season for the Sixers, Simmons has averaged 12.0 points per game to go along with 9.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds. He has shot 56.0 percent from the floor overall, but has still not developed his jump shot. Simmons has yet to attempt a 3-point field goal this season.

Last year, Ben Simmons did not connect on a single 3-point attempt for the Sixers. That is the biggest issue in his game at this point in his career, but he has plenty of time to develop that area of his game.

According to the official NBA Injury Report, Simmons is questionable to play in tonight's game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a back issue.

Milwaukee has been one of the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference early on this season. The Sixers are also considered to be a contender in the East, but without Simmons, they are going to have a tough time beating the Bucks.

A back injury is not something that any player wants to have to deal with. They can become nagging injuries that can linger with a player long-term.

Ideally, Simmons will be able to power through the injury and play against Milwaukee. If he is unable to play, the Sixers can only hope that the injury goes away quickly.
