Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons was reportedly emotional upon leaving the X-ray room at the Milwaukee Bucks stadium this past Saturday during the Sixers' matchup against Milwaukee, according to ESPN.

Simmons exited the game with back soreness. He's undergoing more tests on his back as we speak, but the Sixers fully expect him to miss multiple games:

Ben Simmons left the Sixers' 119-98 loss to Milwaukee on Saturday night after tweaking his back in the first quarter. He played less than five minutes, recording five points and two rebounds.

Sources described Simmons as emotional upon leaving the X-ray room at the Fiserv Center.

Simmons has appeared in 54 games for the Sixers this season. He’s averaging 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists while shooting 58.5 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 62.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The Sixers are 35-22 on the season. They are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Because there is some level of concern surrounding Simmons’ injury since back ailments are never to be taken lightly, the Sixers will clearly be cautious with the two-time All-Star moving forward.
