Sixers big man Joel Embiid left Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with neck stiffness. Fortunately for the Philadelphia 76ers, the All-Star center will not miss any time for them.

Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports that Embiid will suit up for their game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

Embiid did not return to the floor in the second half of their 119-107 victory over Memphis. The Sixers led 58-44 by halftime. It seems like Embiid's absence didn't affect Philadelphia at all as they eventually erected a 31-point lead by the end of the third. The Sixers star finished his night with 10 points and 10 rebounds in less than 16 minutes.

Embiid has struggled with some minor injuries here and there throughout the 2019-20 season. The Cameroonian big man just returned to the floor a couple of weeks ago after missing nine games due to a torn finger ligament.

The Sixers have been one of the most disappointing teams of the 2019-20 season so far. They are currently no. 5 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 32-21 record.

Philadelphia sports the best home record in the NBA at 22-2. However, as good as they have been at home, this hasn't translated into their road record, where they are just 9-19 away from Wells Fargo Center this season. They also failed to come up with a single win in their most recent road trip.

Reports of chemistry and locker room issues surfaced over the past couple of days. However, the Sixers downplayed any of those rumors following their win on Friday night.

Whatever the case may be, Philadelphia needs to get its act straight on the court, especially on the road.
