When LeBron James becomes a free agent this summer, basically all of the NBA will be courting him trying to get the King to join their team.

But that hasn't stopped some teams and players to try and convince him to join their team. One of the fan bases with the biggest push has been the Philadelphia 76ers.

Some 76ers fans put up some signs in downtown Cleveland trying to convince him to join the team.

Even Joel Embiid has joined in and after the 76ers' latest game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he put up a cryptic tweet that seems to be indicating LeBron James to the 76ers this summer.

But before now most people around the league just believed this is a pipe dream, and that the 76ers didn't really have much of a chance to sign him.

But now according to Chris Ryan of the Ringer, people around the league believe there might actually be a chance he goes to the 76ers and joined up with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

“I was shocked at Sloan [Sports Conference] over how many conversations I had with people who said ‘yeah, he’s thinking about it’. Before it just felt like Sixers fan fiction…but now it’s like ‘maybe he could’…All of a sudden [Philly] is a potential destination”

The 76ers have one of the most exciting young cores in the NBA and putting James with that team would make them an instant contender for an NBA Championship.

It will be interesting to see where James ends up but one thing is clear now, the 76ers have a real chance at him.
