The Philadelphia 76ers lost for the first time at home in their game after Thanksgiving. As such, Sixers phenom Ben Simmons blamed the previous night's festivities for it.

Check out the clip below where Simmons jokingly blamed all the food from Thanksgiving that probably made the team a bit sluggish against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For head coach Brett Brown, it definitely wasn't the food from last night. Per Noah Levick of NBC Sports, Brown noticed that their 112-121 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers was similar to that of their 122-97 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on November 4.

Brown observed that both teams had three “live-ball” guys and his team simply struggled to defend them. For the Nets, they have Caris LeVert, D’Angelo Russell, and Spencer Dinwiddie. The Cavaliers, for their part, have Rodney Hood, Collin Sexton, and Cedi Osman. The trio unloaded 53 points and 68 points, respectively, during their duel with the 76ers.

“Those teams that have three live-ball guys — Brooklyn, you know, this team, we struggle,” Brown said. “We’re going to have to find some answers. … We struggle guarding them. I thought all their guards made tough shots, beat us off the live dribble. There wasn’t as much resistance on the ball as we needed. They just did not feel us sometimes. Other times they felt us, and Hood made some tough shots. There’s no denying that this is a disappointing loss, and we’ll talk more with the team tomorrow about it.”

Brown said that the Sixers didn't defend the guys well and assured that he'll discuss it and make the appropriate adjustments.
