Eric Bledsoe's trade to the Milwaukee Bucks will now set the stage for the Phoenix Suns' nirvana of young assets, as the organization can boast three first-rounders in this year's NBA Draft, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.

Phoenix now can have up to three potential first round picks in 2018 — their own, a protected 1-7 from the Miami Heat (h/t RealGM) and the Bucks' first-rounder, which they can net between spots 11-through-16, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Suns will also gain salary cap relief next summer along with a future piece in the Bucks' first round pick in 2018.

Greg Monroe's contract has a $17.8 million cap hit this year but will expire at the end of this season, also making him a likely candidate to be bought out by the team. Monroe's minutes at the power forward and center position could impede those of Alex Len, Marquese Chriss, and Dragan Bender — making him an unlikely candidate to remain at the Valley of the Sun.

During 2018-19, the team will boast a comfortable $15 million in cap room that could increase to $23 million based on Len's cap hold, according to Marks.

Suns general manager Ryan McDonough's best asset for pulling this trade off was his patience, as he re-established talks with the Bucks after they had lost three in a row, with star Giannis Antetokounmpo cooling off, scoring under 30 points in the last three.

This event paved the way for convincing the Bucks front office that there was a need for Bledsoe at the point guard position, making the swap possible.
