Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant isn't going anywhere, regardless of what crazy theories people are thinking up about his contract situation. That should be clear as day by now, according to an interview he had with Warriors beat writer Anthony Slater of The Athletic before Friday night's road game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Durant said on Friday that he would for sure be coming back to the Warriors next season after he was pestered about it during a media session. It's clear that Durant is not going to give in to any of these distractions brought up about his contract situation.
“Oh, you want to start this up?” Durant said with an eye-roll. “I’m not even thinking about that. I’m here. I’m here. I ain’t even thought about it.”
Durant's current contract with the Warriors has an opt-out clause for this upcoming summer, which leaves a small chance that he could leave Golden State and sign with another team.

He said he's not going to leave but still joked around with the media about what his upcoming plans were for the summer.
“Well, actually, I want to wait to see who wins the championship and whoever wins that, that's who I'm going to sign with,” Durant said sarcastically.
Well played, Kevin. Well played, indeed.
