The Golden State Warriors are off to a great start against the New York Knicks at Oracle Arena on Tuesday night.

That was exemplified by a beautiful no-look pass from Stephen Curry to Kevon Looney for a quick two in transition in the first quarter:

That's for those who think Curry is just a shooter.

On the year, Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 5.2 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals over 34.9 minutes per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the floor, 45 percent from three-point range and 91.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Statistically, this is the best season Curry has had since winning the second of his back-to-back MVP awards in 2016, when he won the NBA scoring title by averaging 30.1 points a night.

The 30-year-old has made five straight All-Star appearances and is well on his way to making a sixth.

As for Looney, the big man is enjoying the best year of his modest career, as he went into Tuesday night averaging 6.6 points and 5.8 boards across 20.7 minutes per game, making 63.3 percent of his field-goal attempts and 61.8 percent of his foul shots.

Looney's role on the Warriors has grown significantly since his rookie campaign in 2016, as he has become one of the team's best pick-and-roll defenders and has developed into a very good finisher around the rim, shooting 71.4 percent at the cup this season.

The Warriors went into their game against the Knicks with a record of 26-14, but they have been struggling since their 10-1 start, going just 16-13 over that span.

Golden State routed New York at Madison Square Garden earlier in the year.
