John Wall may have recently signed a four-year, $170 million extension to remain with the Washington Wizards, but that doesn’t mean he is already content with what he has. Despite still being in the early days of summer, the four-time All-Star point guard is busy trying to get even better and has started documenting his workouts.

A video was released by BallisLife, which shows how dedicated he is to take his strength and conditioning to the next level. An interview with Wizards performance director Jesse Phillips was also included, where he said that Wall is already past recovering from the knee injury he suffered in the 2015-16 season, and is now striving to remain healthy and prepare his body for next campaign’s grind.

This is only the first episode of the “No Off Season” series, as Wall is expected to release more volumes in the coming weeks. It definitely sends a strong message to the rest of the competition, as well as his team’s supporters, that he will not settle for anything less than contending for a championship next year.

By the looks of it, the 26-year-old Kentucky product is looking geared to continue the heavy work he’s been doing all summer long. While the results will ultimately be seen next season, his videos could be a sign of what’s in store for him, as he clearly wants to bring more success to D.C. and become the best player that he could be.

If everything goes according to plan for him, not only will the Wizards have the chance to emerge as a serious title favorite, but Wall could also be in line for some individual awards if he can surpass his stellar play from last season.
