Coming into the playoffs, Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal says his team has not reached their peak just yet.

“I still feel like we haven’t even played our best basketball yet,” Beal said. “… We have a little bit of time left to put a nice stretch of games together, so we can get on a nice little winning streak going into the playoffs.
The Wizards are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference right now with a record of 38-30. They are sitting on a two-game losing streak and are looking to get some momentum going as the post-season nears.

John Wall, who's already been sidelined for weeks is set to return soon after going through knee surgery. Without Wall, the Wizards have posted a win-loss record of 12-8. Yet despite losing their best player, head coach Scott Brooks commended his team for holding down the fort.
“We didn’t want to put our heads down and feel sorry for ourselves because we lost one of the best players in the league,” Brooks said. “I think our guys responded well. We played some good basketball. … I think in some areas we haven’t improved.”
With Wall's imminent return, Beal, who's logging in career-bests of 23.2 points 4.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, is poised that he'll inject some energy once he steps onto the court:
“But I agree with coach because John’s an energy plug in. Nothing is going to change when he gets back, so need to make sure we’re all on our ‘A’ game and be prepared for when he gets back because we know he’s going to bring it and be great.”
