Bradley Beal has always been one of the best scorers in the entire league. Nevertheless, he hasn't really been a serious contender for the MVP crown. Well, all that is about to change this season as the Washington Wizards superstar establishes himself as an early-season MVP frontrunner — for Shaqtin a Fool MVP, that is.

The Wizards had a great opportunity to add to their 10-point advantage right before halftime. Unfortunately for them, Beal missed not one, but two wide-open layup attempts. He finally made his third shot, but it came after the buzzer — which actually makes things worse.

Beal couldn't believe his gaffe and it looks like new Wizards teammate Spencer Dinwiddie felt the same way. The pair couldn't do anything but hug it out after Beal's less-than-stellar moment.

Despite the blunder, however, Beal and the Wizards were able to pick themselves up to log their third win of the season. Beal did not have the best of games, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-25 shooting to go along with five turnovers. Nevertheless, a win is a win for the surging Wizards.
