The Washington Wizards just can't lose. In a game that felt like a defeat waiting to happen, D.C. pulled off a massive victory over the Boston Celtics to go 5-1.
Bradley Beal was beyond ecstatic after the contest, sending a message during the postgame presser that Wizards fans will eat up.
Via NBC Sports' Chase Hughes:
“I want to win with D.C,” said the Wizards star.
Beal's loyalty to the franchise that drafted him number three overall in 2012 has never truly wavered. The Wizards are clicking to begin their season like we haven't seen in a long time. You'll have to go back to the 2005-06 season to find the last 5-1 start. And that's with Bradley Beal playing like “crap” thus far. His words, not mine.

"Just imagine when everything starts clicking, when everybody's gelling, when everybody's healthy. It's going to be scary."

The Wizards have now won two overtime games where they trailed by six points. They've won comfortably. They've won without Bradley Beal, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Daniel Gafford for different stretches. They've also managed to steal victory away from the jaws of defeat.
These are your 2021-22 Washington Wizards, folks.
