John Wall has wasted little time putting up the first entry of his highlight reel this season. The Washington Wizards superstar delivered a massive dunk in the first quarter of their season opener at the expense of the Philadelphia 76ers’ backup backcourt.
Wall began the play by backing up the clearly overmatched TJ McConnell. The Sixers’ backup point guard unsuccessfully tried to sell a flop, leaving Wall with a wide open path to the hoop.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot tried his best to recover, but he only succeeded in inserting himself into Wall’s poster as the Wizards star was able to soar and slam the ball hard with one hand. He was understandably pumped up afterwards.
Let that play be a bit of a learning experience for the young Luwawu-Cabarrot. Unless he wants to be a part of a few more posters, he better not mess with one of the most explosive players in the league in Wall when he’s about to take flight.
